Fare Conditions

Advertised Airfares

  • For return Economy Class travel departing from Melbourne to Ahmedabad/Bangalore/Chennai/Cochin/Dhaka/Kolkata/Hyderabad/Trivandrum  as specified in the “Depart between” column on the special fares page.

Blackout

  • No restrictions.

Flight Applicability

  • Valid on any Emirates flight.  

Travel Class

  • Economy.

Stopovers

  • 1 free stopover permitted in Dubai either on outbound or inbound journey and 2 additional stopovers permitted at a charge of AUD 100 per stopover.

Minimum/Maximum Stay

  • Minimum stay: 7 days.
  • Maximum stay: 6 months from the date of departure from Australia.

Booking Changes

  • Revalidations: permitted anytime – two date changes are permitted within ticket validity at a charge of AUD 75 per ticket per transaction.
  • Reissues: permitted anytime within ticket validity at a charge of AUD 150 per ticket per transaction.

Name Changes

  • Not permitted.

Cancellations (including no-show)

  • Cancellations before departure: permitted for refund at a charge of AUD 300 per ticket.
  • Cancellations after departure: not permitted for refund.
  • No-Shows: changes are permitted at a charge of AUD 300 subject to all other conditions being met.  Fee not applicable to infant fares when not occupying a seat. Other applicable charges must be collected if a change of fare is required.

Children/Infants

  • Children aged 2 years to 11 years inclusive pay 75% of the adult fare.
  • Infants must be under the age of 2 years for the entire journey (not occupying a seat) and pay 10% of the applicable adult fare for the journey travelled. If an infant turns 2 years of age after travel has commenced, then there are two options. A child fare can be purchased for the entire journey which will provide a seat for the infant or half return infant fare can be combined with half return child fare. Call Emirates Contact Centre on 1300 303 777 in such situations.
  • Infants under 2 years of age at time of departure (occupying a seat) pay the applicable child fare for the journey travelled.
  • Child and infant discounts apply if accompanied by an adult aged 18 years and above.

Payment & Ticketing

  • All flight sectors must be confirmed prior to ticketing. Reservations and ticketing must be completed at the same time and no later than final sales date of 30th November 2009.

  • Award of bonus Miles under this promotion shall not be made for itineraries booked online as Business Rewards Travel or in conjunction with any other "bonus Miles" offer during the promotion period.
