German rail service is famous the world over for its comfort and quality. And now travelling with Deutsche Bahn is made even easier with free transfers from airport to rail station for passengers on Emirates daily flights to/from Munich, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and double-daily flights to Frankfurt.
How to book
Emirates makes it more convenient to book your rail itinerary for travel within Germany. Simply add your complimentary rail itinerary when booking your flight on emirates.com. Once your booking is confirmed, your flight tickets and rail passes will be emailed to you. Please bring a printed copy of your Rail & Fly pass as well as your Emirates eTicket to the train station.
Transfers are free of charge to and from Emirates destination airports in Germany and the main train stations.
Terms & Conditions
- Train tickets are valid one day prior to the departure date, on day of departure, on day of arrival and one day after arrival.
- Rail & Fly tickets are only valid for tickets where the first leg of the journey starts in Germany and the originating rail station is a minimum of 50 kilometres away from the departure/arrival airport in Germany.
- Tickets for travel on the rail sectors will be issued in conjunction with Emirates sectors by air on the same ticket.
- Travel is valid within Germany only.
- Passengers may upgrade their coach class on the train, subject to paying the difference in fare.
- Rail tickets cannot be booked or issued if your airline ticket has been purchased wholly by redemption of Skywards Miles.
