Seating

There are 2 FAQs for Seating

Can I reserve seats for my Emirates flights and how do I do this?

Emirates offers seat selection for the following passengers:

  • First and Business Class.
  • Passengers in all classes who are Skywards members.
  • Passengers in all classes who booked online at emirates.com.
  • Passengers in all classes traveling with small children and infants.

You can reserve seats through our Manage a Booking page. After entering your Emirates booking reference, you will be able to select your preferred seating option(s).

If you are traveling in Economy Class and you are not a Skywards member, but wish to request seating, you will need to register for the Skywards program first (which costs nothing) at skywards.com. You can then reserve seats through our Manage a Booking page. Please enter your Skywards number first, and then select your seats.

Please note that while every effort is made to satisfy seating requests, these are not guaranteed and could be changed without notice due to unexpected changes in aircraft, or due to operational requirements.

Can I reserve seats with extra leg-room in Economy Class?

The only Economy Class seats that have extra space on our aircraft are those at the emergency exits or in the bulkhead row.

Emergency exit seating is only assigned at check-in at the discretion of our airport staff. These seats cannot be pre-requested or reserved at any time before arrival at the airport.

The bulkhead row at the front of the cabin is reserved for passengers with infants as this is where the bassinet positions are located, and we are therefore unable to assign these seats before departure unless you are traveling with an infant.
