Machbous sauce preparation
- Add cooking oil to the pot (10ml)
- Add Emirati ghee (5gm), chopped onions (20gm), chopped garlic (5gm), chopped coriander (5gm), tomato paste (15gm), turmeric (4gm), machbous spice (6gm); sauté five to seven minutes for the tomato paste to release its oils
- Poke and add dry lime (1ea)
- Turn heat to medium, add chopped tomato (150gm), tomato pronto (100gm), mix
- Add chicken stock powder (5gm), water (200ml), sprinkle salt (5gm), cover with foil and let it cook for 15 minutes on high heat
