Flights to Newark Liberty International Airport connect you to New York. Ranked as the 15th busiest airport in the United States, Newark Liberty International Airport welcomed over 43 million passengers in 2017. It is one of four airports serving the New York-Philadelphia area.
Located in New Jersey, Newark Airport is about 30 minutes from midtown Manhattan. You can reach the airport by car hire and public transport, though the train is much faster than taxi or bus, and it’ll cost less. The AirTrain connects Newark Airport to Penn Station, and costs about $11.55 for a one-way journey.
Within the airport you can easily transfer between terminals by using the free monorail service, which runs every few minutes.
Newark Airport’s terminals A and B – where you can catch your Emirates flights – are part of the original structure. The newly added Terminal C was purpose-built to service two major US-based carriers.
Whether you’ve just arrived, are in transit or have some time to spare before your flight, Newark Liberty International Airport gives you ample opportunity to shop, dine and relax. Indulge in some last-minute retail therapy at any of the six duty free shops in Terminals A and B. Get your dose of caffeine at one of the many coffee shops scattered around the terminals. Or grab a more substantial meal at any of the diners and bistros.
If you’re flying First Class or Business Class on Emirates, you can enjoy complimentary access to the SAS Lounge located in Terminal B.
Emirates operates daily flights between Dubai International (DXB) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
