Boasting over 3,000 like-minded members with a respect for the ocean and a love for surfing, Surf House Dubai is the home of everything surfing and stand-up paddleboard related in the region.

Showcasing a rich history, the Surf House Dubai team first started surfing in the UAE in 1992. At the time, there were only a handful of surfers in Dubai’s waves. Then, in 2005, the Surf House Dubai’s owner, Scott Chambers, graduated from the University of Plymouth with a degree in Surf Science and Technology – the world's only Bachelor of Science in Surfing – and came back to Dubai to put his degree to good use.

Having always appreciated the city’s potential when it came to sea sports, Scott’s goal was to show others how much fun they could have in the Arabian Gulf’s waters. So he started offering qualified, safe surfing instruction and, after receiving an overwhelming response from both Dubai locals and expat residents, he opened Surf House Dubai in 2005.
