Make the Dubai Fountain, the world’s tallest performing fountain, a must-see on your visit to Dubai. At over 900ft in length (that’s more than two football pitches), The Dubai Fountain sits on the 30-acre Burj Lake, performing to a range of songs, from classical to contemporary Arabic to world music, and more. The fountain showcases a unique design featuring five circles of varying sizes, two arcs, and powerful nozzles that shoot water up to impressive heights. Over 6,600 WET Superlights and 25 colour projectors create a visual spectrum covering 1,000 different water expressions, while 50 colour projectors provide a full-colour spectrum with a total output of 1.5 million lumens. The fountain has over 22,000 gallons of water in the air at any given moment.

Get front-row seats to the best show in town by boarding a traditional abra (traditional wooden boat taxi) on the fountain’s Burj Lake. The Dubai Fountain Boardwalk – a floating platform located within The Dubai Fountain – will also get you up close to the action, offering a whole new perspective on the fountain’s sensational performances. Start your journey at Burj Park or Fountain Promenade and stroll down the 272-metre boardwalk. The closest point will get you nine metres away from the fountain.
